How does the Alchemy & Oak scent experience work?
We bring the scent bar to your location and guide each guest through our curated fragrance library. You’ll explore individual notes, blend your favourites drop by drop, and create a fragrance that is completely your own. Your finished scent is then bottled, labelled, and yours to take home.
Do guests need any fragrance experience?
Not at all. We guide everyone through the process, explain the fragrance notes, and help with blending along the way. No perfume knowledge required.
Can everyone create a different fragrance?
Absolutely. That’s the whole idea. Each guest chooses and blends their own fragrance notes, so no two scents need to be the same.
How much does the experience cost?
The Alchemy & Oak mobile scent experience is $85 per guest, with a 10-guest minimum
What does each guest receive?
Every guest creates their own personalized fragrance and leaves with a hand-bottled, labelled scent created during the experience.
How long does the experience take?
Most events take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the number of guests and the pace of the group.
Can guests pay individually?
Yes. For group events, individual guest payment options can be arranged so the host doesn’t necessarily have to collect payment from everyone.
How much space do you need?
A dining table, kitchen island, boardroom table, or similar workspace is usually perfect. Once we know your guest count and event location, we can let you know exactly what setup will work best.
Do we need to provide anything?
We bring the fragrance oils, blending materials, bottles, supplies, and everything needed for the scent experience. We simply need an appropriate space with tables and seating for your group.
What happens if our guest count changes?
Final guest numbers are confirmed before the event. Because we prepare individual materials and bottles for each guest, any changes should be provided as early as possible.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, bridal season, and larger groups. Availability is limited because each event is privately hosted.
What types of events do you book?
Our scent bar is perfect for bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birthdays, girls’ nights, private gatherings, corporate events, team celebrations, client appreciation events, and other special occasions.
Can Alchemy & Oak come to offices or corporate venues?
Yes. Our mobile scent bar works beautifully for team events, client appreciation, holiday gatherings, retreats, and corporate celebrations. We can also discuss larger-group experiences.
Where do you travel?
We currently offer our mobile scent experience throughout Hamilton and surrounding areas. Events outside our regular service area may be available depending on location.
